My Personal Best Records Are Way Off!

Help! In the new Nike+ running website, my personal bests are way off! I used to have 895 calories burned as the best record, but the website saved it as 403 which is my latest run. The same goes to my 5K and furthest run records.

Answer: From Nike Support - We're aware that some users are having a similar experience and we're working on getting it resolved as soon as possible.

  2. I've had the same problem for awhile now. I wish you could just manually reset records or assoc them with a different run. No way for me to delete or beat what's been set for my 5K and 1 mi. :(

  3. Same problem here. Calibration was off for one of my runs and now I have a personal best that rivals some Olympic athletes. Maybe one day, but I would really like to clear these inaccurate records so I can try to beat be real personal records.

  4. Same issue. I contacted Nike and they suggested deleting the run, which is unacceptable. A simple reset PR button in the user settings is a no brainer, but Nike has yet to address it.

  5. I have the same problems. I deleted the runs that caused the problems, but the records remain on website. (I forgot to turn of app and went off in my car, hence incredibly strange personal bests). On iPhone there are no records at all.

I don't think Nike will ever fix this. Seems to be useful information if it worked, but it is a useless feature that doesn't.

  7. Still waiting on this to get fixed. I get a new PR for everything EVERY time I run, regardless of how fast or slow I go. Currently, I've got 0:00 on all my records for some reason, so I must be extremely fast! Instantaneous half marathon! Woo!

  8. I have the same issue. I lost my satellite reception and had to adjust my mileage. When I did that, it auto adjusted my PR. If possible, I would like to delete them, especially since they are at olympic speeds and I probably wont be able to match that :-).

  10. Deleted the offending run and my PB didn't reset. Just poor form

  11. Same from me. Very annoying. Does Nike read this?

  12. same problem. I deleted a past run that held a ridiculously fast 5k and 1 mile time, but all it did was remove the date of the run from my stats and my PRs stayed the same! very frustrating. I vote for a reset PR button..

  13. I tried to stop my run, but it didn't work. Found out 10 minutes later.
Can I correct that? I can correct the distance, why not the time? You can see on the map that the last 10 minutes nothing happened anymore...

  14. I used to think this app was awesome, but lately it's been pretty disappointing. Ever since I updated it in the Adroid Market, it's not syncing any of my runs, and it's screwing up my PR's.

  15. Im having the same problem! i guess we all are. They are telling me to delete the run thatis set for my Pb but i dont want to do that. Also they reset my stuff and i lost a bunch of nike fuel. Im so upset. This has been my favorite app!

  16. same problem here !! Where is the update nike friends. ???

  17. So it has been almost a year since the bug appeared and it's still not resolved. How hard is to repair the bug? Is the source of the app so complicated? No ... People at Nike just don't care ...

  18. Searched "How to delete personal best on nike running?" and this was the first hit. So last night I deleted the run that gave me incorrect bests for several categories and now it STILL shows the same incorrect PR but without the data from the actual run. I would love to see a PR reset for individual statistics as my longest and farthest runs are correct.

It may take Nike a few months to recalculate your best records again"

  20. Did the exact same as the guy above. It has my 1 mile record as 2.33...I mean, if it was, I'd surely be an Olympic athlete by now! Come on Nike! Sort it!

    1. Why did you accept that run without adjusting it??? Did you really believe you were going that fast? Not very smart.

    1. Just downloaded the (05/25/2013) update today and the "personal records" still are showing 0! Ran my 1st 10K, longest time, most calories, longest run! all showing the big "0"!!!

  22. Yeah - the nike+ website and the nike GPS watch currently disagree on my fastest 5k time. Even though the run is recorded on the website it won't upgrade my record. Sad, I worked so hard and I'd like to see it!

More sad that Nike don't appear to be interested in fixing a very old problem

  23. The same problam with PR

  24. I have similar issues. I broke a PB today for 5km and it is not showing up even though my watch recongnised it as a PB when i finished as soon as i synched my old PB stayed as my PB and now even my watch recongnises the old PB.
Also the kms i have run this month are way off despite the stats in activity being correct.

Seems each release adds features but doesn't fix any known bugs.

  25. My old personal best for 1 mile was 7:37, and I recently went out for a slow run with my wife, and my record was replaced with 12:13... Yet my old run still displays in the history. Seems like a silly bug to have for running software.
