How Do I Earn the Platinum High Mile Trophy

HOW DO I EARN THE GOLD HIGH MILE TROPHY IN THE NEW NIKE PLUS WEBSITE?
You will have to run more than 160 kilometers to earn it.

  1. running like 200-250km/month and i never got this trophy, neither the gold one. Only the >40km silver high mile trophy.. something glitched as always.

    1. Correct. I tweeted at nike + support and they gave me the run around about they are aware of this problem and are working on it... blah blah. I got the vibe that they honestly weren't doing anything about it as they refused to give me an ETA for time of completion. Don't hold your breath for that gold and platinum trophy :/

  2. The same has happened to me. Four months in a row I ran more than 160km. I keep on earning the gold trophy.

  5. I track using the nike+ app on the iPhone and never get any of the high mile trophies but people who track with other devices seem to get them. I also don't get the 8k in a day trophy (only done enough to earn it once) maybe it's only for people using the fuel band?

  6. I started running with a nike+ sportswatch, and crossed the 100km yesterday.
When does this trophy normally appears? Beside mailestone-trophies and 3-times a week - trophies, nothing appears on my nike+ profile.

  7. Frustrated: Either award us what we earn or get rid of the trophies. I have contacted nike+ about my missing trophies and they still have not fixed the problems. grrrrr....

  8. I found a fix. If you didn't get your trophy its because you had a goal set on the nikeplus site. You can cancel you goal. Reset the date and time on your device to match the month in which you didn't get your trophy. So a short run. Then download it. You should be awarded your trophy. Now that we know what is causing the problem, Nike should be able to fix it pretty easily. Going forward I just wont be using the goals.

  9. I beat the 160 last month, had no goals set and didn't get the award. I want to kill myself.

  10. Did you do what I said? Go back and reset your device? I think it's the recalc that triggers the award. This would be a good test.

  11. I had no goals set as they seem to jinx me into an injury. The reason I am back here (killing myself was a joke BTW) is that I just went past the 100 mile mark for March and was expecting that pop-up award to show, but it didn't wah! I sent support an email as surprisingly they got back to me fairly quickly awhile ago when their site calculations were screwing up. I will post back if I get some sort of reply. I am really sore and want my reward!

  12. Hi David,

Nike+ is a great way to track your runs, and I fully understand your concern that you didn't get the Platinum distance trophy. I know this can be frustrating, but I can definitely help you and explain what's going on.

We are currently experiencing some issues affecting achievements, and we're working to resolve these as quickly as we can. I've recalculated your account, which sometimes fixes issues with missing achievements. If this doesn't fix the issue, then it's being caused by the larger issue, which will be fixed very soon with a site update. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. We're always looking to improve the Nike+ experience. If you have any comments or suggestions you'd like to share regarding this or other features of Nike+, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll be happy to forward your feedback directly to the development team so we can make sure to keep your concerns in mind as we develop new innovations and solutions for our athletes.

If you'd like, I can keep this incident open and follow up with you once we've resolved the problem. I can also provide you with any relevant updates in the meantime. Please let me know if you'd like to keep this incident open and receive updates. I look forward to hearing from you so we can get this sorted out.

    Best Regards,

    John
    Nike+ Team

  13. I got another reply today April 18th. They say they have repaired this going forward but not retro-active. I just got over a 4 day head cold during which I did not run. Looks like I have to put the pedal to the medal so to speak if I want a 100 mile award for April.

  14. I run 8k 2 days ago (and plan to run 8k today), but didn't get the trophie nor 8000 nikefuel... I am running 10k on sunday and sadly I don't expect to receive any trophies, which is very frustrating...

  15. You are correct sir. I did pass the mark a couple of days ago and no platinum trophy. I emailed them again and he said that he is on the case. It seems they have an abundance of customer service reps to answer emails but no serious programmers. In fact I have only received the 50 mile gold trophy once and have past that mark every month since I started with my Nike device in November.

  16. The most consistent way I have seen is to not sync your last run of the month until that month is over. For example I didn't sync my April 30th run until May 1st, and was awarded the trophy.

  17. Dont even get the bronze :(

  18. Robert High is correct. After running over 100 miles three month in a row I just got my 1st Platinum award for May because I waited until the month changed before logging in. Thank you Robert and no thanks at all to Nike support.

  19. I ran 165 kms this month, I got my trophy. I synced after my run. I guess this problem is limited to only certain people.

  20. Nike has been working on this trophey issue for over a year now without any results. I am due 5 or 6 trophies that I never received. They just kept telling me that they were working on it. I think that they hired some people just to respond to emails, stating that "we are working on it." You would think with all of the profits that they garner every year, they could put out a better product. Maybe they have sent their IT department to sweat shops too?
