CODE 34

If Nike+ Connect shows Code 34 after you plug in your Nike+ FuelBand SE or first generation FuelBand, the device may have a firmware problem.

You'll need to update the firmware to resolve the issue. Please also click Report on the Code 34 message box to submit a detailed report of the issue to us. You will not receive an individual response when submitting the report. These reports are used for research and development purposes only. To receive individual support, please contact us.
  • In the Nike+ Connect Code 34 message box, click Update. Repeat this process three times if the first attempt isn't successful.
  • If Code 34 continues, please unplug and reset your FuelBand.
  • After resetting, plug your device in to your computer's USB port and retry the firmware update.
  • If Code 34 continues, plug the device in to a different USB port that is part of a different USB hub. When the dialog box appears, retry the firmware update.
  • If Code 34 persists and you have access to a different computer, please install Nike+ Connect on that computer and then plug your FuelBand in to that computer. If you are prompted to update your device firmware, please accept the firmware update and follow the prompts to install it.
If the steps above do not resolve Code 34 for you, please give us a call. We'll work with you to determine the appropriate next steps and to ensure that the issues you’re experiencing are fully resolved.

CODE 41

The Code 41 message ("Nike+ Connect wasn't able to connect to nikeplus.com") occurs when there is no Internet connection or when there is a miscommunication between Nike+ Connect and Nikeplus.com during an update to Nike+ Connect.

If you encounter Code 41, here are some troubleshooting steps we recommend:
Image

  • Click "Try again."
  • If the first retry attempt is unsuccessful, try again up to three times.
  • If Code 41 persists, please check your Internet connection to make sure it's active.
  • If Code 41 continues, please visit Nikeplus.com to verify that the website is available. If the website is down for maintenance or otherwise unavailable, please try again later, when the site is available again.
  • If you still experience Code 41, the problem may be with your computer configuration. If you are on a business computer, accessing a VPN network from home, behind a firewall, or connected via a proxy, you may experience issues connecting to Nike+. Please try connecting your device to a home computer where these potential issues are not a factor. If no other computer is available to you, you may need to work with the network administrator to gain access to Nikeplus.com on your network.

CODE 45

CODE 68

Nike+ Connect displays Code 68 when there is a problem installing a firmware update on your Nike+ device.

Image
The Code 68 message through Nike+ Connect occurs when Nike experiences a problem installing a firmware update on your Nike+ device.

You can still use your device even when Code 68 occurs. However, you will not be able to install the latest firmware updates.

Because firmware updates often contain new features, bug fixes, and other important improvements to your Nike+ experience, it’s important to resolve the problem. Try the troubleshooting steps below.

  • Unplug your device from your computer’s USB port.
  • Plug your device back in to your computer’s USB port.
  • Nike+ Connect should prompt you to install the firmware update that’s available. Please click “Update” to start the installation process.
  • If the problem continues when you retry, wait several hours and try again. It’s possible that the source of the problem is an issue with the Nike+ website rather than your device. In this situation, the root cause is generally resolved within a few hours.

CODE 91

Code 91 indicates that you upgraded your device firmware on a computer running a newer version of Mac OS (10.6 or newer) and subsequently connected your device to a computer running an older version of Mac OS (older than 10.6).
